The Barronstown-bred Indication Spirit (2f Magna Grecia – Guessing, by Kingmambo) completed an impressive hat-trick of wins when justifying favouritism at Leicester on Wednesday.
A promising second on debut, the Karl Burke-trained filly went one better in a maiden next time out, before following up over course and distance last month. Racing over the minimum trip once again on Wednesday, she led from halfway under Brandon Wilkie and was ridden after passing the two furlong marker. Keeping on well inside the final furlong, she led by a length on the line.
Owned by Nick Bradley Racing, the daughter of Magna Recia hails from a top-class Barronstown family. Her dam Guessing is a half-sister to Group 1 winners Horatio Nelson and Van Gogh, while their dam Imagine won the Irish 1,000 Guineas and Epsom Oaks. Imagine is also a half-sister to dual Derby hero Generous.
