Barronstown Stud is one of the leading commercial thoroughbred breeders in the world. Established in 1980 by David and Diane Nagle, the farm comprises of 500 acres of prime horse-rearing land in the heartland of the Irish thoroughbred racing and breeding industries, on the border of counties Kildare and Wicklow. The limestone land, modern facilities and professional horsemanship have yielded the winners of 44 Group 1 races in nine countries, across three continents.
Barronstown Stud offer a top quality draft of yearlings for sale each year at the Goffs Orby Sale and the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale in England, with a number of Barronstown-bred yearlings also offered at Arqana.
